The Study of the U.S. Institutes are six-week post-graduate level seminars in the U.S. designed for multinational groups of foreign university faculty, scholars, secondary school teachers, educators and ministry officials. The ultimate objective of these programs is to promote the development and improvement of courses and teaching about the United States of America at colleges, universities and secondary school systems abroad. Each institute focuses on a particular discipline or theme, and is planned and conducted by a U.S.-based host institution.
